Subject Peoples Participation in Child Right Protection
Objectives
  1. To aware and sensitize general public/concerned citizens and representative of various Govt and Non Govt. department, stake holders about child rights and its protection.
  2. To get the lacunas, shortcomings of system functioning which affects the smooth implementation of child rights.
  3. To ensure the people participation in getting the child rights.
  4. To find the solution and design the strategy through which the objective of protection of child right will be achieved.
Year-2003.
As CID always tried to project the issue of child labour and their rights in to the limelight by organising workshops to exchange views and experiences of the peoples working in different fields and to plan a proper strategy for erdication of child labour and protection of child rights. In this context C.I. D. organised two days workshop on the topic “ The Role of Social Organisation in the Eradication of Child Labour.

Participants 70 (Including Representative from Media, Govt. Department, Trade unions, Local NGO’s, Community Committees, representatives and field officer of NCLP and Public representatives.
Objectives
  • Exchange of views and information with respect to issue of child labour
  • To provide guidance and direction amongst the organisation which are working on the issue of child labour and its eradication.
  • To prepare a format of combined social activities and a collective strategy for the solution of child labour eradication.

    Subject “The Role of equal and quality education in the eradication of Child Labour”
    Objectives
  • To develop a meaningful understanding between Government/Society and educationist so that they can improve the quality of education.
  • Substantial co-relation between the tool of education and child labour problem.
  • To make pressure groups for the enforcement of laws and acts.
  • To sensitize government representatives, intellectuals, employers, educationist on the issue of child labour and their problems.
  • To ensure the better development of children by providing them adequate education, food and shelter.
